No movement on the SLC 73N B list.
Little bit on the A list due to 6 new SLC73NA spots. One swap w/ LAX, couple 320 capts at SLC moved to the 73.
Just two SLC F/Os moved up, one from the 320 and one from the 7ER.
Kinda disappointing as an FO, but indeed the first thing I said was "I DIDN'T MOVE BACKWARDS!" which turns out to be stellar actually, as it's the first AE I haven't moved backwards for 3 years. Sweet!... there's very little that downgraded goals in life won't fix

Remember - When you are going backwards you have to come to a stop prior to moving forward!
Scoop -
80, checking in!
My observation of the bid- basically 1 layer of backfilling. None of the cascading that would normally occur- A handful of 320 CA's vacated out of the ATL 320, but were not backfilled and they are very short staffed. Zero movement on the FO side.
I would expect a pretty major cleanup bid in October as a result of this.
Oh, and if you take it upon yourself to lecture a pilot of your own ranks over snagging his dhd tagged bag from down below (since said pilot was in his civvies and put it there as a courtesy), and then continue on and tell said pilot about how to ask for a jumpseat (once again, not jumpseating.. nonrevving)... you're probably the tool of the day!

Contract Q: If you have a pay back day in the bank from being rerouted into an X day while on RES, what happens when you drop that PD day on a 4 day rotation a few months later when you have a regular line?
FWIW, I looked through the contract and couldn't find the answer. Could one of you stellar contract gurus please point me in the right direction? Greatly appreciated.
I wasn't happy with the results after the request was executed!

I thought we had 44 MD90s now and 11 more are coming?

We have a total of 58 MD90's. There are plans to still pick up a few more however the price has gone way up most driven by Delta buying so many. They would like to add 20 MD90's in 2013 to the fleet. That would require a purchase of another 10 accounting for the ones that will still be in the mod lines. One MD90 was destroyed in a hanger accident.
Heard yesterday we just bought another TWA 757 from AA last month and more are possible depending on AA future. Fwiw
