Tomorrow I start my 12th straight day of flying. All trips with strategic 24 hour breaks sprinkled in. Reserve with no yellow slip activated. I'm already over 60 hours credit with 10 days to go. CS said to expect the reign of terror for the rest of the month. We are out of pilots in my category. After my 3 day I'll be at 14 days straight flying with no end in sight. I've never worked this hard in an airplane before. My guess is 110 credit on reserve when they're through having their way with me.
Bring on the new hires before this place starts melting down further!!

You need to read and understand your contract. Your 110 hour of credit on reserve this month is only possible if you choose not to enforce your contract. If you have also been flown the first 11 days of the month then you are do at least 11 days off in the remaining 19 days. In addition you can not be sent out on any trip that puts you over the ALV.

Sorry, just can't agree with that. You'd have me vote against Rubio when he comes up for reelection against some Dem who'd further the nanny state? Hmmmm...I'm gonna say no.

Adios for a while APC friends. Had a lightning strike. Took out everything wired to a wall. Even AC units on a 100 AMP sub panel, garage door openers, cell phone chargers, kitchen appliances, shop equipment. The file server was on a battery BU, behind a surge protector, still got blown to smithereens. Hoping the company network nerd can get data back off the RAID.
Good news is ... the house did not burn down and the musical equipment was unplugged.

Sorry to hear that BB. Let me know how that surge protector $25,000 guarantee works out. But seriously, I hope you can recover as much as possible. Which brings me to the question, anyone have any experience with one of those online back up companies? Good..bad?

I have not had to write anything down. Its not that hard. Pick the same 5 numbers. Something you know, perhaps your old password. Add to the front a 3 letter airport code. Each time it asks for a change use a different airport. Keep the numbers the same. All you have to do is remember which airport your using. You can reuse after 5 cycles. All you have to do is have 5 favorite airports.

I use justcloud for pc and icloud for apple. I know some folks who use carbonite. If you and your family are 100% apple, its a no-brainer, it makes everything portable.

Bucking Bar, Sorry about your house. Had the same thing happen to me once in NC. Fried everything at the time. Good time to update with new stuff.
On another subject about a meeting we both claim to have been out where JC demanded ALPA merger policy for Comair. A post has been made on the Dalpa forum by one of the inside players that describes in Delta how Dalpa approached management with a program to give ASA and Comair pilots a seniority number at Delta. Management approved it. The ASA and Comair pilots lead by JC refused it completely and went back to their demands for a full merger with ALPA merger policy. You have to wonder how different your career at Delta would have been if they had said yes to a ground breaking program. I don't have permission to copy his name and the post but I will PM it to you.
