Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
^^^^ I agree with this.
Delta lad, 4 short calls before today (#5). Flown everyday I've been at work. I merely question the need for 6 guys on short call. Are we covering for NY or SLC? I like sleeping in my bed and having the opportunity to beat my kids.

Ok, I just tried to move some money around in my 401k, specifically the DL stock we got from the merger, IE the Delta stock fund. The Fidelity website wont allow me to do anything with this stock, a message comes up saying I must use a company trading site or something similar, Did a quick search of this thread with alot of why you should dump our co stock from the merger, but not much on how to do that. Anyone have the gouge on HOW you do it?
Surprised that more hasn't been said about the downfall of our late, great friend Bill Lumburg, considering he was one of the TAs biggest cheerleaders on here. Obviously it was a false-flag disinformation campaign...but on behalf of whom? Management? ALPA? RAA? Or was he some regional guy who really really wanted a shot at flying more 90 seaters?
The silence from shiznit in particular is deafening considering how many times he told me to go back to playing in the regional forum sandbox because I'm not a Delta pilot .

Not sure what you are getting at, but Lumberg aside, are you saying that the TA was a failure and is proven to be so because Lumberg is not here to spout? Can the same then be said because Carl is no longer posting that the TA was a success? These forums are anything but balanced. Trying to figure your point?
The obvious fact that you are not a Delta pilot really is telling that your opinion on the TA, good bad or indifferent is meaningless. So what is the point in your view that the TA is not going well simply because Lumberg shut his pie hole?
very curious...
DCI is smaller and there will be less DCI pilots flying less seats for DAL. A fact of the TA.

6 SCs isn't enough...we can look forward to that increasing by 17% soon enough.

Well I had a plane with a seat with my name on it ready to deadhead home. I spent twenty minutes on the phone with scheduling and reroute. They both had managers on the phone talking to each other and said I had to fly into my day off. Everybody on the phone knew about the golden day. They also knew I had a nice cozy seat on a plane. I was not stuck, the weather was great. The company just needed the best , and only, pilot available!
ive got to go double check to make sure it doesn't have this already, but as i understand it SC bucket is not tied to ulyour overall bucket. but it needs to be.
Say Hoser for his first 12 days flies all 12 days and has 0 SCs. He's bucket 3 but bucket 1 for SC.
if over the same time span I fly 0 hours but sit 4 SCs, I'm in the higher SC bucket. so if Hoser and I come up on the same 4 days of availabiliy Hoser will be first to be asigned SC. which means he could fly a 4 day per se while I still fly 0.
i think SC buckets should be contingent on your overall bucket.

Don't they have to pay above guarantee and give that pilot a payback day? Not including some of the provisions that allow flying an hour or so into a "day". But if they just take your day, that can't possibly be for free with nothing in return. Otherwise you are saying reserves can get 4 days a month off and only make guarantee. There's no way that's true.

Flying is buckets.
Shortcall is seniority.
I agree, there should be more interplay.

The proceeds can go into the seperate brokerage link account (which requires a seperate set up) or into the mutual fund menu. You cannot purchase DAL stock in the brokerage link, either.
If you have more questions, you can call the folks at Fidelity in the 401(k) department. They will be happy to help. It's not hard to do, it's just you have never done it before.
