the last group of hires had single occupancy room through training and paid from day one.

RES now pays ALV-2 for your category (restricted to 72-80 hours or 72hr ALV - good for you, 84hr ALV bad for you). You're now considered full when you reach or exceed the ALV but you can be assigned a trip that takes you as high as ALV+15. As always you're paid the higher of your guarantee or your monthly accumulated credit.

Yep-am floored that most people are either oblivious to it or aren't disgusted by it if they are aware.
Just as dalpa blindly accepted DPJs 100,000 lb inclusion into the TA, you think they would have at least "thrown in" hotel rooms for new hires as a quid. There was a quid, right?
Yet another pulling up of the ladder one rung at a time.

Not sure it was blindly.

The argument was made that those jets "greatly help" DAL reign in corporate accounts which of course is good for the DAL pilot............

To be technical, you're now considered full when you hit your projected credit, not the ALV.

So, what was the quid? Giving that up HAD to be worth quite a bit. We received something, no? Pilots helping or "conceding" to bring in corporate accounts??
Of course not posed to you, ACL as I know you agree. This was "costed", no?
