Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
I'd be sooooo junior on it that I'd be getting guarantee which is not to bad with the new PWA. Plus I live (no traffic) 25 minutes from the airport parking lot so being that junior is not a big problem. My youngest just graduated from High School so I don't have to worry about being off for his activities any more. Anyway, I'm seriously thinking about it. If I do, you are going to have to give me the gouge for it!!

Actually, that is not correct. The way the federal law reads is the first $50,000 of employer coverage is at no cost to the employee. After $50,000 coverage the company is required to report as income the cost of the additional coverage (in other words if you elect $500,000 of coverage the company is required to report the cost of the additional $450,000 of coverage as income). On my Dec 31, 2011 pay statement it showed $1200 of income for the additional coverage which is actually a fair price given that the coverage does not require a physical. As a point of note I recently priced out a new 10 year term policy (I am 55) and it would cost $75/month so you can get it a little cheaper (if you have excellent health and you're willing to go through the full application process with a physical). Also, some of this coverage can be maintained after retirement as a decreasing term policy.

I have a RES line in June and blocked 9:52 for the 29-30th. Now I have a REG line on July 1 with a trip that blocks 19:38 which obviously puts me over 30 in 7 days.
I called Skeds to alert them of the conflict and they said I was legal to start the rotation. The Capt I was with said they should adjust your rotation prior to starting it to get rid of the conflict.
So which is it?
Thanks for any insight.

Was on SC starting at 0900. Got a trip with an 1830 sign-in. A maintenance delay resulted in the flight finally going out at 2048 (Not that it mattered, but I had been at the airport since 0745 that morning due to all the other flights for the day being over-booked).
The rotation showed an ACTUAL ON DUTY of 5:59 and a MAX DUTY of 10:15 (I ended up with a duty day of 14:59 that day). I was concerned if there was anything other than 16 hrs (15:30 before push, I believe) to be concerned with so I called scheduling and they said no flags were showing up and I was good to do the trip. I guess I was, but this post made me think of it again. Does the MAX DUTY DAY (even going past 2 hrs) not apply to Reserves?
Pay question:
ATL A320B in July ALV is 79:30.
My time card shows RSV guarantee as 72:30... is this a glitch that will be fixed or something that I missed, because I thought the new RSV guarantee is ALV-2:00?

Not too many posts past this one, and I don't know the answer but I can use it to segue to a another question about this topic:

Clamp,
Must be a glitch. From SD's Flight Ops weekly update:
Next, the increased reserve guarantee to ALV minus 2 (with a floor of not lower than 72 hours and a ceiling of not more than 80 hours) will take effect July 1 as well.
Your guarantee is 77:30.
You should be OK unless you get called in to interview with "The Bobs" and they are told to "fix the glitch."

That was my understanding from the NNP and the memo... Just had to stick my finger up my nose for a few out of confusion when I saw my time card. Thanks for the input, yall.
