Take care Carl, and thanks for your nuggets of wisdom along the way. I'm really looking forward to Zombieland 2 - Greenskeeper's Revenge. I hear it's more of a prequel, after what those kids did to you in the first one.
Boy I hope she doesn't land on that toilet brush.

Does this mean that Carl is taking the early out?
See ya Carl. I've disagreed with many of your posts, but always appreciated your zeal, especially for scope and the protection of all Delta pilots' jobs.
Adios

T, seriously you weren't missed either. Frankly, you're a bit of a hothead and admittedly so I believe. Last time you said you were leaving I told you I hope you reconsider, but man, it's easier to have a conversation when people are slow to anger.

I know I already said this but I want to say this again, moving forward with this TA here are three things that I think would show a future direction of where we are going with staffing and again this is just imo:
1) If they announce the MD-88s and MD-90s will receive the cockpit upgrade that is in testing and supposedly being tested out of CVG, good sign for growth. It means a long term investment in the 88, 90 and now more 717s. Unless they mention parking something else in the fleet that would not be replaced by the 739, then it's good.
2) If they announce only the 90s will get the upgrade. I think that is a sign that the 88s are leaving.
3) If they announce that neither the 90s or 88s will get an upgrade, then they've lost their minds and are wasting a lot of money on 90s. So I think we'd have other things to worry about unless they're ordering something else.
So hope for #1 but watch for #2 and run for the hills if it's #3. Which I think is how one of my Captains put it about growing old, you hope for #1, don't be surprised if #2 happens and I'm not sure what #3 would be but it don't sound good.
