Sorry, I let him get under my skin. The point is that I have to be very careful with the long term implications of this TA.

I let him get to me and answered his arrogance with arrogance. I apologize.

Couldn't decide where to put it, so I'll put in the "main thread". I'm surprised and kinda saddened by what seems to be the most unbelievable religious transformation witnessed by mankind since Saul became Paul on the road to Damascus.

I don't know if I actually believe Bill Lumberg is even the same person, and am worried the actual guy might have been kidnapped for some reason and replaced by one of the company's negotiators. I used to enjoy reading his posts, but now wherever I go I find him spouting diatribe like some energizer-bunny-weblog-superhero who never sleeps and can't be stopped.

Like most folks who change their religion, he seems to have become a zealot who feels me must convert every other member of his old religion, and must do so with 100% of his breath remaining in life. Some sort of internal defense mechanism/justification I'm sure is chapter 1 or 2 of Psych 101, but just really amazing to witness in person.

No insult really intended, and a bit of humor, and I'm not sure I can point to anything he's posting as more than a difference of opinion... but I keep feeling like there's something wrong there, like some secret government/Delta conspiracy has replaced good ol' Bill with an android-psychokiller who's just waiting for everyone to fall asleep to perform his mission. Really, it made me double check all the locks last night, and look in all the corners of the bathroom this morning before I settled in to read the forums.

Has anyone seen Bill ingest food recently, or should be begin considering some sort of rescue mission?

To add a point:

I was at the DFW Roadshow last Friday. During Q & A, when leverage for 'next time' came up, TO indicated* that if/when a merger happens, a new JCBA will be needed, and THAT will give us leverage. (* Not putting words in his mouth.)

Glad for all the points y'all bring up. Wish I could type as fast as y'all seem to!

(Still on the No side of the fence, but the gate's open.)

Short break from THE discussion. A small symbolic gesture maybe, but I think I'll buy a few Starbucks mugs for the house.

I still think he wants this thing to pass so that once in operation we find out how detrimental it is and the DPA goes from it's current 4,800 to the 6,500 number they're seeking.

As in a vote for the TA is a vote for the DPA.

That rhymes.

I'd prefer to just return to sender and get it fixed.

You are our pottery king Ferd.

Many would say, "pottery?!?"

But rest assured, pottery is the place to be...

Ferd... we salute you and your half baked kiln ways.

I was looking for Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze pictures, figured that's our Ferd... then I ran across that. I debated what to do.

Now I am patiently waiting for my infraction.
