Personally I believe in the fight of improving section 1 beyond this TA, among other sections in this TA. It's truly like the saying, "Beauty in the eye of the beholder". I believe our section 1 is worth more than $60k in my paycheck for the duration. If I unknowingly "stole" $60k from your pocket, i apologize in advance, but honestly, never mind...
Section 1 as written probably IS worth more than $60k when all is said and done.

The new FARs reduce the max length of a short call to 14 hours. Any idea of when this will take in effect? Do you think Delta will make all SC 12 hrs or 12 for domestic and 14 intl?

Those don't take effect for another 2 years I believe. Hmmmmm coincidentally that would be about the time this contract would be up for negotiations... I wonder what will be on the company's wish list about then...

It should have been in the TA. I'm sure it was in the survey.

Do you know how many things needed to be fixed from our BK contract? A lot. Do you really think EVERYTHING can be fixed in one shot? Is that realistic? Oh that's right, we have leverage. We know exactly which way management will go, with the RJs and everything. Really?

Not directed at you, but your post is a good springboard. Some of you guys are confusing me...making up spreadsheets or throwing Mettler math and talking about "facts", then when those are shown to be made up talking about feelings.

There's got to be a good Youtube that would fit here.
Wow. It's never below you for an opportune insult ad a wide swath of people.

And that's 25 year old 2007 hire to you. I've got a lot more long term interest in this TA than you, and it needs to be done right. You ALPAoids have let major fails in every section of the TA.

Nothing to be gained for Junior pilots that years left and leverage on our side for this contract. Dead-zoners have nothing to gain on this as well.

We blew an unbelievable amount of leverage rushing this TA through the grinder.

Talk about arrogant, your opinion is worth more because you're junior ? I think we all have an interest in this contract and we all have one vote. Ther are good points pro and con and then there is internet bs. I believe his comments were directed at some of the bad and made up numbers being posted as fact.

Q3 There is a rumor that Delta will trade 737-900s for B-717s. Is it true?
A3 No, that rumor is false. Delta will take the first delivery of the 737-900s in late 2013 as planned,
and there is no change to the delivery schedule moving forward.

How about 737-800 slots?
