Just trying to find someone who can tell me what loopholes have caused a disaster in the current contract before we tear apart a new one. Something huge something that really cost money or jobs not just the holding company thing. Except for one FM event and an 1113 robbery we voted on all the changes that we're unf'in right now. It's like that scene in The Departed where everyone who doesn't acknowledge you is a cop.
1 D 5 That's a loophole...

5 A 1 That's a loophole...
LOA That's a loophole...

We won the grievance. Now we just let it go?
There sure aren't any apparent gains from giving that up in the contract.
Looking for contact info for "angrypilotwife"... I have the blog site but want to send an email. Anybody have it, drop me a pm, please.
Ask you reps for the history there. They were not allowed under the current PWA due to weight limitations. DALPA found out they were flying em, filed a grievance to stop it and told the reps the company they agreed to stop flying them, but no official resolution was ever published. Walla they are in the TA as allowed. That's my beef.
I understand the issues of these jets being flow by DAL pilots. Most of those jets are managed by DPJ not owned, and much of the flying is performed by the operators flight departments. Its a mess, but its good we have holding company protections that will allow our scope to bind them no matter what DAL's org chart looks like. That part is good, RJET cutout not so much.
300 pilots, Did C2K cause those first 400 furloughs? Did we change the staffing formula to bring them back early? Did the efficiencies hurt the pilots who didn't get furloughed? What's your lesson here with the 300? It has nothing to do with the TA. You didn't get furloughed in any of the last 5 years in spite of being way overstaffed well beyond 300 pilots because of what? Ed and Richard's good will? The language is stronger that you give credit for.
On C2K it stopped the hiring. Simple as that, they rest is history.
The 300 here, well it seems to be a number that the company likes.
Current furlough protections, good enough to stop furloughs. The language is good, not discrediting it at all. I am just saying the improvements in the language are not a reason to vote yes. Not for me.
For a change of subject, as it turns out... Coming this January, there's going to be an 80, Jr!
So it begins:
So it begins:
CONGRATS!!!!! Hope you have all your toys....won't be ale to have any more for the next 18 years...
Just curious what I'm missing.
