1. I am not aware of any 76 seaters on order. Delta has options on 36 EMB-175 aircraft, 4 of which can be exercised in 2013, 18 in 2014 and the rest thereafter.

2. The current ratio is about 1.19-1 Mainline-DCI in the "domestic equivalent" system (narrowbodies and 767-300).

An E175 ... well, at 86,000 max TO, it is still landing weight limited, guess that would work ... although the network management team seems to be highly enamored with GoJets as of late.

E175 wouldn't help them in their stated goal to replace CRJ2 1:1...well, unless Embraer matches Bombardier's offer.

I seem to recall Bombardier was stuck with a bunch of ASA/Comair Brasilias back in 2003. I don't know the details though.
