Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
Yeah, what's he saying ? Important minds need to know...
No I just do not like guys putting stuff out there that would get another pilot group assuming we are taking something from us.
Stating that we are taking jets from another carrier is a serious guess. It is not something anyone should take lightly. That is all.
Understand the law and you will realize that that is not something to comment about even off of the cuff.

The thread is called DAL RUMOR.
The majority of things read on these boards are taken as folks just p*ssin in the wind with the exception of a few proven to be reliable voices like yourself.
People talk crazy talk daily here...now one guy talks crazy talk and seems to get a knee jerk reaction from you. It just stirs things up even more.
I appreciate all of your insight and posts...we all do. But please don't lecture us on the "the law". We are not the one's breaking it or even flirting with breaking it by randomly guessing...no one's passed us this "inside information" that is not supposed to be even in your very responsible/loyal hands.
The poster has never stated he knows anything has fact. He's throwin sh*t out there (strangely very detailed sh*t, but in the end we could all be getting punked).

ACL65 does a very good job of driving a mean (as in average) line through all the known data points. The most common sense explanation that includes most of the facts is more than likely the right answer.
What has me thinking there is no big announcement on the 15th are the statements from Flight Operations management that are somewhat forward looking on staffing, which make no comment on upcoming events. If they did know anything, they would be very carefully silent. They aren't, so either they are in the dark (doubtful) or nothing is happening (more likely).

You mean I have to pay $10 to see what happened? I was saving up to buy a bowl of soup in Minneapolis.

Ask yourself this:
-This is the first big mention of furloughs by Dickinson. Has he really just started looking at this issue?
-This is the last Flight Ops Update prior to the PRIP window closing midweek.
-The language he is using the doom and gloom sounds all too familiar. He is selling something by providing a "Flght Ops context" for "decision making."
I'm guessing this is Dickinson's version of the PRIP hard sell.
I also wonder this:
-DAL ALPA is eerily silent on all of this, unless something is up I would imagine they would at the very lest try to provide the "ALPA context"
I realize things are precarious, but I choose to be optimistic... YMMV
Cheers
George
