I’d expect the DOT to levy a fine on par with SWA’s Christmas meltdown.

your inferiority complex is showing again

you are a hot mess. You seem to think it’s some kind of flex to blame Delta pilots for Delta management’s decisions regarding ComAir. Maybe you were expecting a date of hire windfall? That’s a shame.

You’re all tied up in knots of sour grapes and general misery. Maybe step away from SM and try to find inner peace in the real world. Sounds like things are great at AA…right?

What a disgrace. We need a vote of confidence.

he delayed his trip 2 days. The operation was pretty much back to normal. What do you want him to do to help? Go sling some bags or fly a plane. It was right for him to go since we are the Team USA Sponsor. His job is being the CEO, he has to go do CEO things. Just stick to flying the plane and getting your GS / RR pay

I agree, his only mistake was allowing it to be news. In hindsight, getting ahead of the media would have helped.

Agree with the above. The IROP was well on its way to recovery. I'm guessing guidance had been set, big decisions had been made and the team was executing the plan that was finally getting the train back on the tracks. How would the outcome be any different if he had stayed in his office on the 4th floor and cancelled some of his visits/meetings/interviews at the Olympics?

The appearance of impropriety is impropriety. The optics are the reality. He should have delayed. But he didn’t want to. Would his staying at the helm in ATL have made any difference? I don’t know. But the optics of him leaving make him appear callous and uncaring. Bad decision in my opinion.

Lol, you're probably right. I guess I just need to get more in touch with my feelings and be more emotional, rather than practical. 🤣

Everyone is all about optics today and getting infuriated about minuscule stuff. Luckily a lot of the media coverage quickly reverted to the uproar over a small portion of the Olympics Opening Ceremony.
