I don’t either. While he’s ultimately responsible for everything, did people want him manning the phones? Trying to fix a crew rotation? No. He’s got to let the people he picked/promoted fix the problem and hold them accountable for their failures. Which the BOD should do to him. But he’s also got to do what CEOs do for the future of the company as well.

Big picture: We're still the best-run airline overall for the past 10 years. We account for half the profits in the industry. A week ago we were the darling, and we will be again. In a year this will be forgotten, and we'll still be on top.
The clutching of pearls is getting old.

All this keyboard warrior talk reminds me of folks in the bleachers acting like they could coach better than Andy Reid after the Chiefs had a rough start to the season. We all know who won the Super Bowl.

No one is claiming they can do better. Everyone is saying, especially with our resources, there's literally no reason we shouldn't be doing better.

Is it true that you guys only got vague Ops updates all weekend and didn't hear from management or union leadership until Tuesday when things were already trending positive?
6 hour waits to get in touch with scheduling or tracking? Phone lines intentionally turned off? Ops having no idea where people or airplanes were? Stranded and having to buy hotel rooms for your crew?
Sounds like a loss of Operational Control. The FAA should investigate that.

I know how you love to sniff around airline forums, dig dirt, and reference it later in other airline's forums for your own self aggrandization but in this case I hope no one gives you additional poop to sniff and spread.
All the gossip you could ever want is out there on some social media cesspool. Stay in your lane.
