I can. The money will go to Amanda and the girls. I know Blake, who set it up, I've known Krash and Amanda since we were neighbors in the NAS Kingsville RV park in 07/08, as we were all "Full Time RVers" at the time.

Granted I know I am just APC user #723 here but if anyone wants to vouch for the GFM, PM me and I'll try to make you happy with the bonafides.

Very nice gesture by his friends running this fund, but hopefully his family will be ok with the Delta life policy, in addition to what the Navy offers.

With current inflation, medical costs and college costs, that just doesn't go as far as it used to.

That’s good enough for me.

Thank you.

Company life insuraance is 2500 x highest paying 12 year Captain pay ($447.24 right meow), so $1.12M

While I agree…

I also think is smart for everyone to pay the “optional 1.5mil” insurance with Delta and the Alpa loss of license insurance.

Additional life insurance is a good idea, but not from Delta/ALPA. Life insurance you can keep if you are no longer an employee is better. There are lots of term insurance options available at comparable rates.
Thanks for the reminder about loss of license.

I agree. I have the 1.5 Mil optional and also have 1.5 on my own. If I leave this life, wife will have around 4.5 mil.

Alpa loss of license will be a good supplement for disability. Also it can be payroll deducted, I don’t even care how much it cost.
