FYI- pilots who send ACARS to tracking requesting reroutes are violating the PWA. I would absolutely have a talk with you about it if you told me this in the cockpit. Do not screw your fellow pilots over by voluntarily abrogating the trip coverage ladders.

Been waiting since last night for GS coverage today. They could’ve run it all day. Meanwhile a bunch of trips with early show, aren’t been run. I can even pick some that have DH. Also the company getting rid of GS triggers is a PWA violation.

Hope the FAA starts investigation. I’m sure they will find Delta breaking FARs, specifically rest issues.

Yesterday, at one point ATL 320 A had 21 trips in open time that were past report time, one of which was 9 hours past. As of this moment, they have 20 for today, 13 of which are AM bank departures, and 1 of which is 6 hours past report. No ARCOS overnight at all.

I think they are still underwater…

Daily trip coverage in my category is very very very very empty. Like 0 trip coverage

those trips will be worth a lot as potential illegal L2a

Being awarded a rotation that has begun is not an IROP and you’re not subject to recovery. So they can’t just award a trip whose first leg (DH) has already departed and update the rotation.

NYC JFK CPO was open with pizza. I think normal Saturday closing is 2:45. They were open well after that. Gym stayed open too.

One of the larger issues is getting crews in place specifically commuters to their base(s). The decision was forced on management early on and they finally acquiesced to PS. The issue, and one of things they need to fix, is that when booking PS and the flight is at capacity one must go to crew scheduling or work thru pilot assist to have your listing created. That is the broken part. When the company invokes PS due to IROP, pilots and FAs should not have to work thru CS or PA to book a seat. That piece needs to be removed for situations when management gives PS out due to IROP. That extra step for our pilots and FAs to work thru is causing many missed commutes as the response time back is very very slow if non existent.

Getting close to 700 cancellations for today and it's barely 8:00am.

This is such an embarressment. There's no other way to describe it. Have you guys checked out Reddit? Not only is Delta getting torched left and right but there's videos of Atlanta and someone should honestly send in the Red Cross.

Our dispatcher told us last night that dispatchers were told to no longer contact crew tracking. OCC on flight family couldn't reach crew tracking. Of course, pilots couldn't get through to crew tracking. Eventually, Crew Tracking called one of us ... but only after the flight was fully boarded and one of us timed out.

VAS takes on a whole new dimension. Brilliant!
