Because we work for Delta...lol So if they want to offend people, that's Delta's choice.

IOW your fact is meaningless to people who use common sense. Even though YOU think it has meaning because it's 145, (Sanctioned by the UN!!!!) to many people it just shows why they think we spend too much on the UN.

BTW I have flown into Taiwan, my kid flies into Taiwan but I don't know any pilots that have flown into Palestine.
Taiwan is a much different issue. The PRC has systematically attempted to reduce the number of countries that recognize Taiwan.
I know I’ve read a better article about it, but this one discusses it also.
China thinks it’s diplomatically isolating Taiwan. It isn’t

You might not like it, but most of that has to do with being inclusive of all types of customers, which affects the bottom line. The company made the calculation that being inclusive of LGBTQ is worth the cost of whatever passenger dislikes said inclusivity. I'm not pretending Delta is ethically on the right side of history, but I do think there is a business case for the PR. This is different from the Gaza strip, where picking a side (any side) is probably a net downside for the business at this point in time.

Personally I find it off-putting when coworkers start complaining about the posters in the jet bridge, like it's a bad thing we welcome customers of all sorts.

Exactly this. Inclusivity makes money according to Delta, but supporting Palestine is too risky even if ethically right. Corporations don't have to act morally or ethically, they need to do what makes money.

Honestly I'm glad because I don't want to have to deal with some snowflake passenger or employee triggered by a flag pin on one of my flights.

Except that's not what's going on... the posters are part of a political agenda which about 1/4 to 1/3 of the population dislikes.

There's nothing propaganda about showing something that happens every day on Delta airplanes. Those people exist in a significant percentage and it doesn't matter if you don't agree with their life choices.

Actually no, they are not a "signifigant percentage" they are a very small yet vocal sliver of society. That's ok though that doesn't matter. Most people, myself included, don't care at all with what other people do in their private lives. But the push, and the posters are an example of this, are indeed propaganda promoting a political agenda. If you can't grasp that, then try learning some critical thinking.

They represent over 7% of the US population which is about 25M people. That's 25x the entire state of Montana. If LGBT was a state in our union, it would be the third largest state..Their percentage of the population is greater than Asian and over half that of Black. To claim that it's "very small" is ignorant.

And nothing they do on those posters is inappropriate. Holding hands or putting your head on another person's shoulder is something you see every day in ads with straight couples. Here's the great news, if you don't agree with gay marriage, you don't have to get gay married! See how easy that is? But they exist and they spend money at Delta. It's irrelevant you don't like them
