So you are okay with our military outspending the rest of the world combined on the order of multiples? And sending unlimited bombs to Ukraine indefinitely? Our military budget is larger than Russia’s GDP. So you support the military industrial complex profiting off of all our wars?

What does he get? That our government is the largest most corrupt bloated institution in the history of the world? And the average citizen has to work four months a year just to pay their tax bill for the year so we can send bombs to Ukraine? People talking about roads like any of our money really goes to that. All you folks on here complaining that the government doesn’t take enough of your taxes should just write a check to the government for whatever you xtra you think you owe. And if they won’t cash it (haha) then send that big fat check to the charity of your choice. Then stop trying to tell other people how much we are under taxed. I can’t believe the Stockholm Syndrome of some people.

Going through a security screening is fine. Losing your rights at the airport is not. Also, it's not the government's job to provide security at the airport. And they fail miserably at it anyway. It should be done by the airlines or a reputible contractor.

Philsophical obligations are not the same as legal obligations. Yes most people feel some sort of philsophical or religious obligation to their fellow man, of course. But that is not the same as stealing from your fellow man in order to give other fellow man their money (taxes).

I dunno man. It’s hard to live off 30k a year. I’d imagine that’s what a lot of people around the airport make, working full time. I have no problem taking on more of the tax burden so those people aren’t entirely destitute. Yes, I would like my tax dollars spent as efficiently as possible, but I consider myself extremely lucky I’m in a position where I’m paying 6 figures in taxes. In other words I’m happy to pay for those peoples roads and public schools.
