Uri Berliner(ex NPR editor) agrees with you regarding biased reporting.

Surprisingly, he is not for defunding NPR. I think they might call that Stochholm Syndrome.

PBS News Hour and NPR are not the same thing.

YES INFANTILE!

If you need to "show off" then it's not about the actual charity it's about you and your performative nonsense.

Go ahead and walk around like a goofball with your silly tie. If you really cared you would donate twice what you did to get the silly tie and leave it at home.

Wearing a pink tie isn't going to cure cancer. In fact that pink tie charity is the biggest scam in history.

Besides nobody knows or cares what charity you donated to when you walk around with your goofy Christmas epaulettes or tie. They just see an unprofessional person with goofy ties and epaulettes and are wondering if you're mentally well.

Living up to your user name.

You realize that at least at Delta, the ties many of us wear are designed by kids who are patients in the hospitals DPCF supports right?

I'm going to wear mine proudly on the maximum amount of days allowed in the FOM.

The pax seem to enjoy it, for the most part. I’ll continue to engage in my infantile behavior despite your misgivings. It’s rare that we get the chance to liven up the sea captain uniform. When given the chance, I choose to do just that, especially when it benefits a cause.

*When it comes to breast cancer awareness, many people do care about the tie. I’ve received more positive comments for the pink tie I ever would have thought possible.

That's an interesting tie

Yes, it is. It's designed by a kid with cancer and the proceeds support them.

Oh wow, can I buy one too?

Absolutely, here's a link.

Advertising is not infantile

I'm not a flair guy but the ties and pins and other stuff raises awareness so more people will donte. It's called the multiplier affect. Describing yourself as AAhole is right, atleast you are consistant.

I believe you are thinking we donate money to the Susan G Komen foundation…we don’t…Big D supports the BCRF which has a 100% score from Charity Navigator.
