Default Mins vs. Actuals

Hi Everyone,

I am sure this has been posted before, but I'm not able to find any straightforward threads on this.

I understand the mins posted on the website for DAL, but what are people actually getting hired at? I know it can be all over the board these days, but I am just curious if anyone has any real world intel/experience.

Thank you!

Try the new hire process thread, plenty of stuff posted you are looking for there.

I'm sure the data is likely changing rapidly. When we were vacuuming up 200 pilots/month, there were a decent number near the minimums. I strongly suspect as hiring has caught up, and we transition to a more 'sustain' mode, they will be able to afford to be more selective, and the average will rise. To what, I couldn't say.

That said, you definitely won't get the call if you don't apply, so if you meet the mins, do your due diligence (hire a review company, have outside 'eyes' on your app, etc), and publish it. Good Luck.

According to the recent union email, the average hours of the class of 46 people that started end of January was 3,437.

3500 +- 300 has been what those weekly emails have said for the past several years.
