Yep. This age 67 trainwreck made me up my donations. Someone posted how the age 67 fight made them drop their Century club listing. I looked it up what that was and saw that a Delta Captain was bragging about his $100 a year donations. So I upped mine to $2000 a year from Capital club. I think that about made up from the loss of several of their tantrums.

I upped mine for the same reason. I had been meaning to do it for a while but thought it would be difficult. It's actually very simple and quick to do and can be done on the ALPA website for those interested.

Upped mine too.

The irony is that a lot of my friends in their 30s and 40s have done the same.

If the argument for 67 had been honest about the greed, or straight desire to die in the seat, it would have been a lot more palatable.

The hand wringing angry millionaire victims on the offensive doesn’t really vibe like it did for our parents… and they raised us that way.

We also need ro remember we had what? A 1000 plus that spoke with their feet and left early that none of us get to chat with in the cockpit anymore. The percentages also say odds are we aren't in the cockpit much with the ones who stay to 65 but have dialed it back to nearly nothing. It is prevelant enough the company came after the low flyers more than once in recent negotiations.

Good riddance
I’m sure that happened all the time.

What about the UNA result and LOA did you find unfair when there wasn’t positions available? Did COVID and the airline trying to stay in business mess up your life plan for a while? Everyone has a story, yours is no more important than anyone else’s.

Well I went on MLOA and was overseas for 10.5 months away from home and family, so there was that.

But it’s comments like yours why not one of us will shed a tear you don’t get another 2 years at the top of the seniority list.

I dealt with the hand being dealt to me and didn't try to change the rules at the last minute to benefit myself at the expense of everyone below me.
