I'm not advocating one way or another about 67 but you're talking only 2 years of possible stagnation. Try being at a regional for 20 to 30 years or getting screwed on a merger ( Capitol , TWA , USAir, Republic, Ozark ) to name a few . How about getting screwed on bankruptcy and pensions , etc. Most pilots today are making tons of money and flying nice equipment. Try flying turboprops for 10 years or sitting sideways on the 727 . CMON, it's not that bad .

I figured out the solution to all this.
All pilots should support age 67.
In order to make it fair for what younger pilots will lose…
ALPA needs to engage the company on a compromise. Us “juniorzoners” that will stagnate and lose out on potential career earnings should be provided cash, a min-balance if you will, on what we are going to lose out on.
We can call it the 5th pillar. Engage your reps! Ask them where the 5th pillar is!

80% of the people are not worried about age 67.... if .67% of the populace has even heard about age 67, that would be surprisingly high in my estimation.
But, 80% of ALL voters number one issue is worrries about controlling the border.
Thumbs up to Joe and Kamala on dealing with that one ;>
IOW...if your are a single issue voter over age 67, you are missing the big picture.

The House bill tries to stop illegal immigration THEN they want to pass a comprehensive immigration bill. The Senate version(that the House says is DOA) wants to keep the electro-magnet for illegals swithed on and process illegal immigrants faster. It does next to nothing to stop the magnet.
Most people(80%) are starting to realize that sanctuary cities are a pipe dream and the 10 Million illegals(caught and get aways) since Biden took office is financially unstainable.
The number one issue(border security) except for peeps with their head in the sand.
BTW... the Border Patrol Union support was nothing more than milquetoast, "It better than now....but it doesn't fix the core problem"

No, actually the House submitted a bill 9 months ago(May 2023) that now sits in the Senate that stops the open border....unfortunately Shumer won't mark it upor put it up for vote.
