Category dependent. My category has almost totally dried up, in both seats. Premium was hardly flowing even over the holidays.

Just watch and wait....I got 330A on the November bid....but this is normally how it plays out, they spread A330 openings around the system and at least half of the awards will be currently awarded NYC A330 A's in NYC. I bet at least 20 NYC A330 A's will be awarded with seniority greater than 4000. I don't know if it will get to you, but there will be substantial backfills in NYC.
I'm expecting a few senior FOs in my category will move left and I'll be pleased when the dust settles. With every bid life keeps getting better in the right seat, which makes the move left a smaller gain.

I can guarantee someone will look at the results and say "How did they award X ? I didn't see any vacancies". That also solidifies your point. Repeating BWYWWWYB is pointless when pilots don't grasp the vacancy award process. I think I'll stop echoing a useless phrase.

it's just that they are gearing up to open MSP. so they run you thin until they drop the 717 MSP cat and let the Vikings pillage the new category.
