You’re on the 330 right? Looks like we have more -900s than any other variant now on the 330. Exciting times!

20WB A. It looks like they forgot to post the WBB spots the last few AEs because they're suddenly out in force on this one.

Looks like they really want to give some WBB's to new hires for recruiting purposes.

im not sure that's an angle they need to cover anymore. I have a feeling the applicant pool is filling up pretty quickly with Sprit and JB folks by the minute.

(A statment to the avaition gods... not coming at this post with the hubris of belief that my hill is somehow forever above the high water mark. Just that, as of today it seems more and more fellow airlines pilots are starting to have to tread water and it's still rising. *as I knock on wood*)

Yes. I am in between training and OE. I start OE soon. In training they focus on the classics, (the original NW birds) then you have the -302's, and -900's. It sounds like the classics is the primary fleet, and then you find out we just crossed the line of the -900 having the highest numbers of the sub-fleets.

I can't wait to fly any of them. I went through the short course, so the vast majority of my training in the 300 and 400 series was running the ECAM while my FO flew. I've got way way more take offs than landings. 🥴

The good news is that after 8 years flying Airbii aircraft, I'm finally an ECAM master.

Thats a shame because the training program is heavily designed towards a Captain-FO setup. I was lucky enough to go through it with an FO but a lot of pilots are going through A-A right now. It would have been nice to have more FO's in the pipeline to make training smoother for those Captains, since they obviously were needed.

I went through as a single B a year ago and it was awesome as a previous longtime 320 guy. I think I watched 13 seasons of NCIS on Netflix during training.

If you go through by yourself, with a seat filler, that can be a good deal....only two hours in the sim per day vs. 4. I did that going through as a mad dog FO, back in 2006. It was my second time going through the Maddog program (I checked out on it in July/August 2001 the first time ) and I had all kinds of free time. That can get boring though, being stuck in a hotel on VA. Ave for a month.

Something tells me the strategy of 50 330B in ATL has more to do with incentivizing LAX ER to leave of their own accord and not actually award many of these slots. I doubt they care about NH going to WB. Just a guess.

I do find that strange that have been talking about winding down the LAX ER base but they keep offering slots there.. (that have been filled)..
