You don't actually have to guess. ALPA publishes a "bid monitor report" that is available on the website. It breaks down the staffing of each base.

Well, you got me. Been clicking around dal.alpa.org for the past 10 minutes and can't find the "bid monitor reports" - Help?

Disregard, my organic artisanal browser wasnt loading the publications. So I switched to a mainstream corporate browser and there they are!

Looking at the monthly history, seems like AEs are either Monday or Friday at 10am. So this Friday at 10am I’m guessing? I also heard they are activating the rest of the 717s so I imagine captain will hit 15,000 this time around. I know training will slow down but they could train heavy in May and get everyone out by early Summer

I’d be surprised by that. NB A has trended more senior the last few AEs (see Scoop’s pinned post). I wouldn’t expect it to break 15,xxx.

14,8xx IIRC.

I stand by my statement. I don’t see it going higher than that. Smaller AE with the summer training timeline and instructors on the line. If anything, it might go more senior. A surprise larger WB AE could make 15k happen.

ALPA got the AE this evening. It’ll be posted tomorrow.

Any hints? More WB A's will make everyone move up. 😉

I wouldn’t be surprised! This would be a May/June training period making it a July conversion for the company. July and August are incredibly busy months for flying. I would think this is the last AE to cover any last minute flying plans for the summer. I’ve heard rumors that we have more bookings than expected for the summer. Tomorrow will be interesting.

After tomorrow’s bid, it’ll be slow for the next few I’d guess. As always, BWWYWYWWYB or something like that
