Yes, expecting the Maxes to come on time seems to be wishful thinking, but isn't there a clause in our purchase agreement that if the Max-10 isn't certified in time that we can convert some/all of those orders to -900ERs? So either way there will be growth on the 737 fleet.

Appears to have been a huge struggle so far foot many. Hoping when it finally does happen, the appropriate news outlets will be alerted again for riveting stories!

I think what they said was that if the Max -10 can't get certified, they can replace it with the Max -9.

Now if it's just delayed a bunch... I don't know if they would buy the Max -9. It probably has slightly higher seat miles costs than the Max 10, but that's just a guess. If Boeing keeps say, "Van - I mean Max 10 airplane - will be there in 5 minutes, it just left the factory..." would Delta wait?

Not a rumor. Ryanair also stating they will take any MAX slots that open up.

I think it's max9s if the 10s are not available.

I think that's why we agreed to max10s. If they can't deliver we have negotiating power to make a better deal on 9s or delayed 10s.
