I'm not convinced. Surely there are LAX and DTW pilots who already commute and will come home?
Plenty of NB As perfectly happy at current salary, good schedules, no crazy hours, etc.
It'll be interesting to see what happens. (I personally have zero interest in ever going widebody)

That's the hope of many a first officer: The widebody's will come, all those senior SLC NB A will upgrade and open some slots.

The AE notes have indicated the number it opens with depends on the base transfers - ie, who can just switch bases without training. I guess theorically it could be the whole 200-250 pilots, but I can't imagine that being the case. Guess we'll see tomorrow - Typically the bases open with small numbers to avoid breaking seat locks.
