This AE will have fill ins above the bottom instead of new junior awards. August or September is where we will see new WBA plugs. i've also given more thought to the WWYB side of the equation and tightened my criteria from previous bids where I had every WBA without qualifiers. It will be a while before my number hits.

I was full send on WBA when NYC 330 was 1,000 numbers (2 years) from the next closest option. Now the bottom across WBA is a little more even and the 350 is trending junior. I'm cautious about incurring a 2 year seat lock on the 330, if the 350 is my first option outside of NYC.

Only 19 NB A's are posted (all in SLC), and they are the first A's posted in 3 months. I don't think they will go particularly junior.
That said, there will be more than 19 NB A's awarded. Someone will get an unposted award from 'secondary' vacancies (aka backfills) based off 40 WB A's - it might as well be you. So put your bids in. BWYWWWYB.

Looks like the highly requested reduced training footprint for Airbus transitions in same seat is about to start testing. This will be wonderful for those that want to take a break from WB flying or want to switch between the 330/350 as destinations change. Highly inefficient for a 330A to 320A to go thru IQ

Would love an opinion of someone who last year switched from WBB to NBA and if you regret it or if you have enjoyed Captain. My seniority when i make the move will be no less than 50 percent. Theres basically three paths you can follow when you are WBB and that is stay forever, Stay until you can hold WBA or take the plunge back to domestic until you can ride out your career WBA
I wont go NBA unless im 50 percent if that helps. I feel like the 330 fleet has changed over the 5 years i have been lucky to be on it, dont get me wrong its still great but the days of proper staffing, planes without mels are gone but I also remeber domestic challenges, looking to see if it has got any better specifically on the 320 fleet.
thanks!

Theres no way the training department knows how it’s going to work, much less have it written down somewhere.
If there’s any consolation, it’s a “no jeopardy” training program for now.
