I don't see a reason to hold back awards. The vacancies are small numbers across several bases. There have been plenty of WBA retirements since the last AE and we have more airframes arriving. The memo made it sould like this is the first of several monthly AEs with similar WBA numbers.

Just my general pessimism because they seem to have a way of disapointing. Knowing the deliveries are actually on the way helps, but backfills will be the key to movement.

It's a new base so I see a small opening due to relocation benefits being an issue. Then once the time has passed a much larger award.

It's how they did SEA 220...

FlexGunFighterFlex! hoping this is your AE!

I’m surprised that there isn’t a need for a single Boeing A and only a couple 7ER, and 717 Bs across all the Boeing fleets.

Not only that, but looking at reducing backfill on 737 A, 7er A/b and 765 B.

It's intereting to watch the shell game happen. They keep announcing all these 717s that are returning to the line, yet they've added very few 717A. Plenty of B's for newhires, but few A's. Total number in category continues to slide.

Yeah... they'll wait until they're extra short staffed like usual. Can't have adequate staffing!

They’ve been reading APC… heard people were upset about the ability to swap/drop and lack of GS!

Quite the opposite, somebody said blue day and they immediately posted KLOAs for 73NA!

This AE will have fill ins above the bottom instead of new junior awards. August or September is where we will see new WBA plugs. i've also given more thought to the WWYB side of the equation and tightened my criteria from previous bids where I had every WBA without qualifiers. It will be a while before my number hits.
