Another harassment/retaliation lawsuit?

If I needed to insert a catheter (in order to perform a basic and essential bodily function) and somebody walked into the cockpit on me with my phallus exposed doing this, it would be inappropriate. If a fellow crewmember, especially of the opposite sex, complained, they would be justified. If I became known for doing this, exposing a private part in public at work, I would probably expect to be made fun of for it.

The equivalent in this story would be if I grabbed your balls later and made that slurping sound from Hannibal. One is intentional harassment for no purpose but harassment. If a pilot literally did need to do that I would hope we would brief it and if it were truly necessary so be it. If we go past 67 we might start to see it happen.
there was another complaint with another pilot involving grabbing her breast, but a different situation

Not sure I'd ever complain about seeing some boobs.

The woman sounds nuts. Multiple stories of harassment in all different kinds of situations, sounds like she has a drinking problem, probably loses her inhibitions, then feels bad about it and blames everyone but herself.

You guys are missing the point. I love how you all pounced on the one paragraph about her pumping in the cockpit, but let's look at the big picture here. Another woman (and we have less of them than any other major airline) files a harassment complaint and takes on the good old boy network. Immediately the company uses all the levers of their power to ruin her life and discredit her. They abuse a section of the contract, pigeonhole her with company payroll doctors, big names in flight operations gaslight and threaten her, and the minions go online to label her as nuts. You can say what you want about Karlene, and maybe she was right, maybe she was wrong, but now two women who decided they weren't going to take their crap anymore found themselves in very similar situations with their livelihood in danger. Doesn't this seem like a bit of a coincidence? I think we may have a problem here and it's time we guys speak up for our female coworkers and say enough is enough.

It's obviously too much to ask for a large number of pilots to understand and sympathize with a woman who needs to pump. If find yourself in the group of people who can't fathom why a woman would ever pump in the flight deck, please simply ignore that allegation and read the rest. Are any of the theses complaints acceptable to you?!

It blows my mind how the American public can’t handle a boob. I wouldn’t care if a coworker needed to pump. You shouldn’t either. You’d see more cleavage at your local pool (assuming you were watching the entire time…)
Regardless,
If even 10% is accurate, it’s f’d up. Be interesting to see what happens going forward.
