Status quo was following 23N/O with penalties for not and also penalties for blasting everyone's phone. We get rid of the second with a promise they would actially commit to follow their earlier promise to do the first.
Thanks for answering my question about contacting my rep by not answering my question about contacting my rep.

There was a problem. The company was not paying affected pilots and figuring out who as affected was clogging up the ACE queue delaying pay months. This agreement makes them publish a document and eventually automate the identification of 23M7 usage which is a huge gain to the pilot group.
Second, batch sizes were a problem. Violation fishers were a problem. It was taking too long to assign trips and it became the wild west for premium pay. My rep said the grievance was a guaranteed loser in arbitration. (You called them yet?). The goal was to get them back on the track so they were honoring seniority and covering like they were supposed to. I saw a post awhile back talking about how awful it was that they were IA blasting instead of running GS and how batch sizes were a problem. Now we are complain that we got rid of batch sizes.

I don't have the time or desire to comment on every post here. I don't owe you any answer.

Back on topic - I just got off GS #1 a couple days ago, and my phone rings about midnight for a GS #2 that reports in over twelve hours. I'm about number seven of about fifteen. Number one on the list takes it. So, anecdotally, about fifteen pilots get teased at midnight to save a few minutes just in case.

- CS let the 05:00 to 07:00 trips sit in open time until 2am (as they always do & we did not force them to cover trips in this "negotiation")
- Got called in the second batch of 100 at 2:40'ish. Woke the wife and one of the kids up.
- Trip went to #7 in the first batch.
- Second call was reacted to by instant airplane mode. None of the trips made it to anyone outside the top 20 or so.
- Why can they run multiple trips instead of one by one? Is this just cruelty?
- Phones went into airplane mode. No longer a player in this game.
