Dude, it's people like you who make this site unbearable. People are legitimately trying to find answers to questions and you throw in garbage that genuinely curious people, like me and many others, have to sift through to get answers. Maybe quit challenging people to start drama.

A while back I talked to someone who knows a few things. Said that more don’t pass the assessment than the old JKT, but the HR portion has a higher pass rate once they get to ATL. No evidence or data, just talking while on a trip.

Tropical goes on his rants and raves about everything he finds unfair. I, yes sarcastically, came back with a response to figure out what the expectations he wanted. And another rant ensued.
Throw stones somewhere else. I was no where close to the one that “started” this.

Does this have any effect on the hundreds of Delta Connection pilots that are just as good, if not better, than all the PSA, ENV, GoJet, etc pilots that are just flat out blacklisted as candidates until flow or heavily metered. Years and thousands of numbers of seniority lost for guys who chose to fly Delta metal. (Rhetorical question / groveling)

Horizon retired the last of their Q400s in January, 11 months ahead of their originally scheduled plan when they announced they were once-again going single fleet.

I'm not sure this is true, but if it is, maybe they should keep the experience requirements where they are, but get rid of the stupid "assessment" with brain games and a Kobayashi Maru psych test at the end, and the antiquated shrink interview that sends great candidates who have multiple CJOs to a PARB purgatory because one person "had concerns" which probably have nothing to do with being a good airline pilot.
We are turning good pilots away for specious reasons, then scraping the bottom of the barrel for even more inexperienced pilots who may manage to squeak through the hoops just because of luck and paying for the right prep. It doesn't make any sense.

I busted the assessment twice and didn't get another invite. I am willing to jump ship to DL from another legacy carrier as DL is my dream job, but I don't think this will be happening because of the assessment.
