Delta or United
#73
So I’m in a situation now where I can’t get released from active duty until early 2024. Delta originally gave me a class date for this past March, but I had to push it for mil reasons. Sucks because I can’t get in and have to miss out on that seniority. United is offering me an interview for whenever I’m free. I should be able to do the interview in the fall, but still can’t start until 2024. I still am leaning Delta, but it is hard knowing I’ll be behind some of the seniority movement after potentially having to wait a year for mil reasons.
At 28 does it really matter or am I overanalyzing the seniority progression?

Thanks for the insight. I think Delta is definitely the best for my situation. Hopefully I can get there sooner than later

when I was on the bus right after the md80 left.
Ny 320 used to have west coast legs, nice trips.
Now what is there 5% commutable trips?
Yuck. To me they ruined the category.
Glad it sounds better Last I checked there were almost zero commutable trips, many w multiple legs.
Almost everything through ATL for the fl shuttle?
My current ER bid is late start, one leg per day, No ATL.
Some guys like early shows, more than one leg. I hate it.
Something for everyone I guess.
