The only way I might agree with the above is for someone with a 2-leg commute, and who is regularly maxing out SC's.
Regardless of your own personal definition of work, do you have an obligation to the company on reserve days or not?

It had to happen eventually, and I suspect if the economy gets tighter (and that's a maybe), some of the cost cutting will be cutting loose those who don't want to come back to the office or back on the road.

Potentially, sure. No one is arguing those “working” 60 days a year can just go to Tahiti the other 305 days a year.

Do you think a WB B working a trip (or less) a month is the same as a NB B getting “Full” every single month?

It’s a rhetorical question, btw, because the answer is self evident.

Nobody is? You don’t see how it could be misleading for other people when someone claims they only worked 60 days for their entire first year?

In context? No. Abso-effing-lutely not.

Eavesdropping ignoramus? I guess…?

P.S. Mil leave would be an important bit of that context.

Default Clarification please

Dear colleagues,

Eu based small legacy airline pilot here. Reading this, it is like a sci fiction for us here. I am wondering how it is possible to have such a number of off days on narrow body? How many crews per plane you have on A320/B737?

Line holder…you can have 18days off with no issues with about 65-70hr of pay a month. Reserve, it depends on how much they use you or how you play the game.

One permanent base. Two more during high season. (april-october) 120 OFF days minimum per year, 7 per month. 65-95 block high season. 30-50 low season. Narow body only. Average leg 100 minutes on A320.
