Cruise mach…step alt cruise mach. CI would be nice…we don’t use it. Reporting points….but I’d be willing to report whatever point…that’s less an issue.
It isn’t hard to observe a pilot from every fleet load the FMS…then provide the necessary preflight info. If I have to finger bang all over the place…then I’ll just use the html.
The sign in mech…gmafb. Let’s be honest…one pilot is going to make scribbles for everyone’s sig…there isn’t going to be airdrops or the passing around of iPads. It’s terrible. I scan my badge at the gate, I sign into acars, my iPad has my face recognition…and this is what we come up with for the release? Laughable.

Same here. Just forced myself to use it. Griped about it for a trip or two and have now settled into a usable flow. At this point I'm an M+ user but I don't like M+. The UI is clunky and laughably bad (only comes in dark mode!? Lol), it is poorly thought out with respect to our normal work flow and the procedure to sign the release is idiotic. There is just so much room for improvement.
Edit: I see DryClutch showed you how. And you proceeded to whine about it. Awesome.

A) They don’t care
or
B) The app is such a rigidly designed POS that it would require a big re-write to add such basic functionality
For a beginner to intermediate programmer day/night mode is an hour to implement at the most. No hackey secret workaround needed.
Soooo, I’m going with a nice mix of A and B. Same applies to the rest of the UI/UX.

I just tried and my shortcuts still work. I think they have required that they not be shared and promoted, but if you already have them then they still work. I'm sure over time they will start breaking down as updates happen to the apps but not to the shortcuts.

Or, they could add a toggle button that alternately applies a day/night style sheet. That they haven’t yet implies:

So what? You have the workaround. It is a one time deal. Do it and you're done. Or constantly whine about it.
Welcome to corporate America.

That said, why the FAA won’t allow ACARS pins like other airlines have had for 10 years is beyond me.

Whining or expecting a bare minimum from the tech we use to do our jobs?
Your response is exactly how I imagine our feedback is received by the M+ team.
Silly pilots just don’t understand. Stop whining and row.
Instead they expend effort shutting down organic, FREE innovation from within their own ranks 🤦♂️

He wasn't "whining" about it but merely noting the absurdity of having to go into iPad settings and doing all sort of trickery to get a simple function that all our other apps (FWV, FD Pro and Aerodocs) have that requires a simple tap.
