My original opinion of M+ stands. I gave it a "B-" awhile back and still do.
I use it every flight, along with Oak Notes.
It is not awful.
It is not great.
It has a few very nice features, and some real duds.
Like everything tech-wise at Delta, the project pilots and non-pilot DT guys get very proud of their creation--which may or may not be a good product--and they also get very defensive whenever criticism is thrown their way. More than anything, they usually have little to no time or energy for legitimate pilot inputs and requests, but the second that a pilot one-ups them with a vastly superior app that easily outdoes the Delta-created app (iCrew Max, Oak Notes) they miraculously find the time and energy to immediately issue "cease and desist" orders. Sort of sad, really.
I'm still cautiously optimistic that M+ will one day be a superb app that we all use and praise. We're not there yet.

I see a lot more young guns complaining on here than old farts. I think M+ is great. The INIT page looks just like the airplane's... everything is cut up just like we used to do in the old days with paper FPs... It's gonna be fun watching the whiners scramble to learn to use it when the time comes.
Yours has everything? Our init page is missing a few pieces of information (alt/fuel/etc...). Not a huge deal, I just don't know why they don't have it auto populate.
Can't they just use the legacy flight plan within M+? I don't see it really as whining, just calling out the faults, which are many. I've provided lots of feedback on the survey, nothing seems to change.

“M+. Not great. Not terrible.”

(It was not)

We're talking about an app that is replacing a sheet of paper printed on a roll or using a dot matrix (!) printer.
If it takes more than 5 minutes to learn how to use (and that's being generous), it's not a good app.

It's like being an Android person and switching to Apple for the first time ever, or vice versa. It's change, and some of us are more resistant to change than others.

Ya that is probably the worst possible depictions they could have selected for open time viewing. Imagine a real calendar, like the one we're all used to using, then imagine the entire months open time laid over that. You could even select trips you didn't want to see anymore during the refresh. I think I just deleted my last screen shot of an example or I'd post it here. Worked great, lasted short time thanks to Delta "saving the day."

It's not perfect but it took me less time to get used to and comfortable with M+ than with the paper flightplan.

Flight Ops should listen to the feedback they’re getting and try something else. They won’t.
Oaknotes is 99% of the way there. Hire that guy and move on to bigger problems.
