Mission plus

I don't know man, it's a crappy app. They say it's best to "clear the blue" yet the "blue" is still glitchy and slow to clear. I could easily see a delay caused by M+ even with experienced M+ users.
I think the big delays will come from the M+ server issues. Those have been going on for over a year now and still aren't resolved. Something tells me they'll go live on M+ before they should.

What's really sad is the layout of the legacy flight plan is atrocious and took me years to get really comfortable with. Even now I see the glaring drawbacks to the layout. I can totally understand why newer pilots prefer M+ over learning the legacy flight plan. That said, I much prefer HTML for the simple fact I get 90% of my preflight info on one page. 100% with a swipe. M+'s FMS INIT page still lacks required info making for a lot more jumping around. Add to that the terrible Nav Log, poor notam layout, missing features, poor UI, etc... I'm just amazed we chose NavBlue, the same company that still hasn't figured out how to scroll a website on a mobile device.

I gave M+ a try for about 3 months and I just switched back to paper, or the "CBP" under other docs, which is just the old flight plan in M+. Biggest gripe is that you can't use the up/down arrows to continue down through the sections (flt prep, in flight, notams, etc...). Why doesn't it move to the next section, rather than give you the popup of the current section? FMS Init button is a good idea but it still doesn't give all the data, why not just add cruise altitude and fuel in there? There are multiple other issues, but you get the point.
I'm not surprised the company put a stop to Oaknotes, they have a history of killing anything that is a far superior product that they didn't create, like iCrewMax. I'll even concede that MiCrew has morphed into a semi-decent product and has features nicer than max. But for some reason they refused to accept the one item that made it far superior to MiCrew, open time laid over a real calendar that makes so much sense.

Ya that is probably the worst possible depictions they could have selected for open time viewing. Imagine a real calendar, like the one we're all used to using, then imagine the entire months open time laid over that. You could even select trips you didn't want to see anymore during the refresh. I think I just deleted my last screen shot of an example or I'd post it here. Worked great, lasted short time thanks to Delta "saving the day."

I see a lot more young guns complaining on here than old farts. I think M+ is great. The INIT page looks just like the airplane's... everything is cut up just like we used to do in the old days with paper FPs... It's gonna be fun watching the whiners scramble to learn to use it when the time comes.

Is that like the Jitterbug cell phone being great because it’s set up just like my old rolodex?
