First off, use whatever works for you.

Now to my rant. I have never understood people’s need to highlight. It is such a crutch. Even in school all people ever highlighted was the first sentence. If that’s the case just read the first sentence. I know it forces your eyes but rote usage does that too. And it can also force your eyes away from important stuff.

I also know most on here on great aviators so I am seriously not picking on anybody. I just need to use my soapbox for a bit.

Agreed. What’s ironic is Mission+ highlights a lot of the important stuff, like big font on the TAF where it’s your landing window plus color highlights for low ceilings, high winds, etc

Does mission plus have the countdown timer somewhere? I find it useful for getting clearance and timing my pipi break before pushback

I don't think so. But Flight Family does, in the bar on the upper left side of the screen. I also find that somewhat useful for the % of customers scanned and bags loaded for general SA.

That's a good one. Also, when people talk about setting up all their apps, what other apps are they struggling with? Aside from going through micrew to send myself the weather, I set up FDPro through M+. I genuinely don't understand this argument and I'm trying to see if there's something guys are doing that I'm just not.

John Bell has published 3 iOS 'shortcuts' on his website johnfbell.com, in addition to being on Skyhub. I use the one by Justin Van Demark, and it is out-effing-standing. I believe the other two incorporate the HTML flight plan, which I have forced myself to no longer use, as they are going away anyway.

And you can flag important NOTAMS and sort out by the flags when you need them later.

Twoooooop! Those links are a solid addition. JB has been instrumental in alleviating the pain with M+-/ so far… it’s as if we have a team willing to help who knows wtf they’re doing, if only the company would utilize their knowledge and experience in this adventure.
