Mission plus

I highlight stuff on the HTML so it stands out. Much of the highlight focus is done for me in the way M+ categorizes things so I don't need AS much.
Most of what I currently highlight helps me not miss things during the FMS load: ETP point coordinates in a field of coordinates, step-climbs in a field of howgozit text, NOTAMS that I want to emphasize during brief or remember in 9 hours (I've got a great memory, but dang, is it short).
Everyone has their technique. I use highlighting to emphasize things to which I want to draw attention. I agree that it needs to be added to M+.

On the bottom right of the dashboard page is an FMS INIT button. click that and it takes you to the INIT page that has your route of flight, step climbs and a fix list, and it is tailored to your airplane.

I still don't get the hate. It is logically broken up to mimic the way we used to tear up the flight plans, the NOTAMS and weather will show as read if you look at them for a certain period of time. The little up/down arrows on the bottom left make zipping thru the tabs easy peasy... I don't see anything clunky at all in that.

The highest praise I've heard so far is:
"Look at the potential"
"They are willing to work with us to improve it"
"It's not perfect but it's fine"
Talk to somebody at most regionals or majors and they'll tell you they like their software. In some cases, they love it.
I don't buy products based on promises of future enhancements. If it isn't good to start with, the team that designed it isn't capable of good.
The only reason I care about this is because I have to use it multiple times a day... If I was only doing 4 flights a week I would agree that it's "fine". I wish I was just being a grumpy old pilot yelling at the clouds, but this app is just plain bad.

You know when you get to the airport Pete's 5 minutes before close and they tell you the coffee is still hot but you know there is no way it's still hot but you get it anyways because it's a 5 hour flight and you need the caffeine? And then when you get to the airplane and have your first sip, it's basically cold but you choke it down anyways because airplane coffee is still more gross? Yeah. It's like that.

give me a digital sign in and the HTML flight plan…and it’s better than mission plus.

My favorite is checking how close to arrival time we’ll be after take off. Open nav log, insert take off time, scroll to bottom of nav log, see landing time, then go to fuel page to see taxi in time, add that to landing time, then go back to home page to see what arrival time is supposed to be.
Or I could just use the HTML flight plan, type in wheels up time, then instantly have how many minutes early or late we are with no other steps.
Just one of many things I despise about the app. I stopped using it. Too much work.

I heard a rumor they are getting rid of the legacy flight plan feature in the near future as a way to force us to adapt and overcome. Mission + is hot garbage. It adds numerous steps to something that used to be intuitive.
