I have no clue, but you said you are mad west coast guys don’t fly back side of clock. All I can say is that west coast certainly fly their fair share of red eyes. I hate red eyes. I get them on reserve all the time. Ironically I was about to sit down with coffee and look at red eye percentage for lax73a and I can’t because I’m in South America and don’t have cell. Guess how I got here? Reeeeeddddd eeeyyyyyeeee

I get sick of flying equivalently ****ty trips while the west coast is protected. If it’s bad it’s bad. To me the west coasters are the squeaky wheel.

I guess what I’m saying is, look at the data before you throw a spear at your fellow pilots.

Copy that, do you know where it’s written or what the rule is? Have you looked at comparing red eye trips amongst the other bases? Could be your category , but I can vouch for a ballpark 30% min red eye starts. Could be complete BS but it’s a wag. We also get alot of red eye to x, atl turn back to x, wake up 3am body time to then go back west for day 3.

If the embargo is not also applied to other people from other bases for the same body clock flying then yes that is bullsh1t and should be rectified.
I can only say that west coast folks on the 737 7er and 320 definitely do a lot of red eyes

What is the embargo specifically? Do you know where it’s written? This is not an attack, I’m as cool as a cucumber, just an RFI to better understand.

I am not saying these embargoes aren’t smart. They are. I just find it hypocritical they aren’t applied elsewhere. What is good for the goose is good for the gander, right?
They have been mentioned in company emails regarding rotation construction. As an east coast guy, I don’t have them memorized.

All I can say is you are dead wrong if you think we don’t do red eyes my man. Not an attack, just facts
