If this is true, I will be voting no. I was leaning yes, but this pushes me back to a no. I can’t vote yes to something like this out of pure principle.

This will cost me about $15,000. This and the fact that retro not pensionable is equal to about $24,000. Pretty big concessions is you ask me. Tired of hearing that term. It’s obviously not true.

Definitely a different situation than C2016/TA2 when that agreement became effective on December 1st, 2016 but the "new" pay rates were effective on January 1st, 2016 thereby resulting in a retro payout on December 15th, 2016.

I bet the Company asks for a 1 March 2023 signing because I doubt the Delta computer system could handle calculating an off-cycle pay adjustment for 17,000+ current and retired pilots.

Definitely decreases favorability. Reading the C01 email raises an eyebrow as well. I'm gonna hold out judgment until we know more details but some of these things are certainly irksome.

Maybe they are just creating an opportunity to fabricate a “moment of delight” in their parlance.

Ed could make it so with a swipe of the pen. If they adhere to 2019 rates for Q12023, I dare say their savings will not have been worthwhile.

They could, but kinda of a weak bluff, everyone would bank it mentally, and people would feel empowered to vote no.

“Full retro” is self defeating because it’s like an interest free loan, no one is motivated to do anything knowing there is no since of urgency or opportunity loss.

All pilots will always vote no if it feels like a freebie. If you got retro 2023 this deal is completely banked, vote no for free, and go for more. They don’t want anyone taking a free shot.

Their goodwill is long gone. They obviously don’t care about it coming back.

You have an opinion. No more or less valid than mine. Good talk.

What’s an honest opinion? Should we not already assume it was honest?
