You have the “average” pilot making north of 500k the last 3 years? Interesting Napkin

I'm a NB FO and consider myself slightly above well below average

Last three years I was on 6 months of 3rd year pay, 4th, 5th, then 6 months of 6th year pay. Sat around for almost a year due to NQAT, so just making ALV with no ability to GS. I rolled thunder 1 month (no I'm not the SEA 330 Capt with 700+ hours....my hero!) this past summer and have cashed in 5 PB days during the last 3 years. Other than the one month of thunder, have only done 6-9 GS in my career because I"m a commuter.

I'm already at $566K for last 3 years and still have 3 more paychecks to go in 2022.

So assuming all the Capts and all the FO's senior to me, I'm guessing at least 69% of the seniority list did better than me the last 3 years, so I find his $500K to be a little low actually.

Just my slightly moist napkin math.

I’m half expecting some really low numbers that I will vote no for. If history repeats itself, ALPA will tell us the extra money is the equivalent to a low mortgage or car payment, bring up time value of money, tell us that if we vote it down, it will take a few years for another agreement, then have Ed come out and threaten us more, etc. I’ll still vote no. Low rates are unacceptable in this inflationary period.

I think he's assuming 6% a year so 18% total for three years. 100k seems pretty ball park if someone averaged about 200k a year for those three years.

I’m a VERY lazy NB A….and I’m north of $600 the last 3 years, 14 mos of which was WB B. Probably over $700K but I rarely look at my paychecks. 100k retro is reasonable & expected at this point.

Lots of things accomplish goals.

What are you attempting to accomplish by coming out to tell others to lower their expectations right after the NC specifically requested us not to post about contract rumors because it reduces their ability to maximize leverage?

So on our SWAPA union forum. We are hearing DAL is offering 35/8/8. They are calling it a Generational deal and could be complete by end of year. Thoughts from Delta guys or is this SWA pilots just spreading garbage.
