we say this but very few have actually shut down lots have been reshuffled though it is true.

Not very many regionals left to shut down are there? And Compass wasn’t shut down due to costs (I don’t think).

You’re right I can’t think of too many that have fully shut down. Top of my head ExpressJet, Compass, Comair, ASA. Many others were merged with cheaper operators, and even more were forced into restructuring.

If I were to predict the future, I would think Delta will prop up Republic by whatever means necessary while avoiding a large pilot payroll increase.
Once the supply demand curve flips, Delta will sell off Endeavor to some holding company (is MAIR still around?). Then Delta will award enough of the DCI contracts to Republic to make Endeavor restructure, and repurchase Endeavor at a discount.

This will be a repeat cycle until pay drops low enough that no one wants to be a pilot again, and we start over.

This “clueless legacy pilot” got to tour with this band from 06-17.

ALPA always said there wasn’t a pilot shortage, but a pay shortage. I think they’ve been proven right.

Skyway, Tran States, ACA, Great Lakes, etc. A lot have shut down.

I am trying to get the best possible contract for my fellow pilots. I bet when a TA is finally announced most posters will be on here trying to undermine it every way possible. It’s going to be a ugly ratification.

This is a given. Everyone will be a company plant sent here to manage expectations, just like the trial balloon pilots now. Sadly, so many don’t have a clue that management could care less about this forum and the pilots that post here.

Don’t say that on here! Otherwise the three stooges will get upset and demand that you stop trying to silence people who disagree with you. Then they go cry to the mods saying they’re being personally attacked.

Lol. This whole thread is full of dumb posts. Mostly by the three stooges. I can’t say their names because they cry to the mods. They have fun when they sail. 3=7+7+7 ?? Last but not least a guy who completely blanked when he signed up for APC and so he uses two letters OOO and FFF.
