Yep, and signed with “in unity” right after trashing the majority of the MEC

Kind of pathetic. Stinks of election denial type inability to understand anyone not thinking exactly the same way as yourself. Hopefully they can manage to sort this out in a way that won’t end up negatively affecting negotiations. Actions like this during a time when we need the pilot group and union leadership pulling the same direction point towards someone who may not be the most qualified individual to hold the MEC chair. Seems maybe the MEC made the right choice.

Everyone demands transparency until they don't like what they see, then they want to deny the ugliness & reality of political shenanigans in our own ranks. I'm sure C54 will echo C1 & C66 in their recollection of the MEC election sh*tshow. Just remember WE have the final say with any future TA!

As usual, it’s Councils 1, 16, and 54 versus everyone who wants a contract.
The Council 66 chairman showed his true colors as a sore loser. It was bad enough that he scheduled something as important as a recall meeting after the December bids had closed, his hysterical email demonstrates why he isn’t qualified for the top job at the Delta MEC.
Council 1 trying to weigh in on another council’s business is just dandy, because everyone knows that air line pilots love carpetbaggers.

Lemme guess, DH fan? I’d never heard of him before this election so care to elaborate on why he’s the best choice to lead us? I‘m hearing lots of negatives so let’s hear the positives. Honestly curious because my reps both voted for someone else but have yet to issue an update.
TK voted against both agreements. Each deal achieved permanent and concession-free contractual improvements on the basis of a temporary problem. Anyone who messes up two free lunches like that cannot be trusted to make decisions on our behalf, and no rep who votes to put pilots on the street deserves a place on the Delta MEC.

DH was crucial to getting LOAs 20-03 and 20-04.

Dont think anyone took you for a TK fan. How was DH crucial to getting those LOAs? Was he more crucial than the other 15 votes for them? Did he go directly to the company to negotiate them? What else has he done for the line pilots while (it sounds like not flying?) doing DALPA work? These are actual questions to help you inform the question you were asked. I don’t know anything about the guy except the negative stuff that everyone has put out. Haven’t heard any solid pros just denials that history was not what is being repeated. Would love to have great news about our new glorious leader.
