Because a WB FO can make the same or more than NB captain and can take a month or 2 off if needed.

I keep hearing this, but that 1-2 year CA would be 90% or worse WB FO. Not that it can’t be done, but bring that close to the plug I’m not sure how easy it is to match $. The CA flying just 1 GS really makes the numbers hard.

I’m doing it. 320A to 330B. 100% QoL bid. Told the wife I didn’t care about the pay difference. Life is too short to be in the bottom 25% of any category in the NB.
