Huh?

2 of the last 3 have been out very quickly, but that is very, very new. Until recently (as in, post Covid when they started using the new software) it was reliably 1-2 weeks.

CR is making multiple runs tweaking parameters to get an “acceptable” solution (to them).

Take your time CR. Hopefully you catch that I want off my plane and I am looking to be released from my APR 23 seat lock a couple months early to go from a properly staffed airplane to an understaffed one. Take all the time you need to get it right. I honestly forgot about the AE until I logged on here to read the banter over the TA.

This. They wanted to make the NH positions, but they don’t like what the software is telling them.

Almost every time CR does multiple runs, especially since the intro of the Jepp tool, it’s because CR is caught off guard by what it spits out and they’re trying to mitigate the inevitable.

CR could be minimizing moves within the WB band so they can be trapped with a 3 year seat lock on the April AE.

I doubt it. I’m guessing too many current pilots moving from 73N to 320 or 220 or vis a versa which eats into sim availability that they were hoping would be available for new hires.

Essentially, pilot bidding behavior isn’t leaving them enough open sim space on the growing fleets to have new hires help the staffing problem. CR and flight ops just delay the inevitable hoping that the pill will be easier to swallow on Friday.

I still haven’t seen a junior CA guess with the BES and DOH. I guess we have been distracted.

That's the word on the street. Apparently very junior NYC As again, particularly on the 7ER and the company is deciding how many A postions to withhold again

Ironically I’d be more likely to bid an A seat if they didn’t withhold, as it increases my relative % by putting newbs in it.
