Asking for a friend…seriously. New hire-ish who was curious about seat locks and AE’s.

How often has an assignment with a seat lock happened at delta? Because I have never heard of it happening in my time here.

Nobody knows because it’s not published anywhere. Anecdotally it does happen with some frequency. If there’s something they want, put the bid in and have low expectations.

The only ones I know of were 7ERB->765B….ATL and maybe NYC? This was as international was coming back during summer and they were sending out multiple IAWC per day.

Heard that the new terminal is great. That would be a drastic change from our 1980s style gates at EWR

Spring of 2019 for sure. CR can and CR has ....don't "not" bid something if you really want it but have a category freeze. You just never know.

There are only 2 Captains on the 717 that I’ve heard don’t do walk arounds. Ever look at the compass card??.

Uncoupled and requires FPA mode so your situational awareness needs to be on point. Preflight on first flight of the day requires outside observer to clear wings for hydraulic check. Panel outside has to be opened to check potable water and can be painful to open/close in winter. I could go on but you get the point. To top that off many legs per day and not the most desirable overnights. But on the brightside, it's a hell of alot better than CRJ200 flying at the regionals.

717 Radar is decent. 737 Radar is world class even tho it's overzealous in Auto(Scary Mode)
The 717 most definitely has headrests, lol. Maybe you’re thinking of the -88 that didn’t.
