I feel like I would be the guy to bump into 100 PAX while walking to and from the bunks at 2am and **** a lot of people off
Bunks are in the tail of the 330-200. Door 3 on the 300 and 900. If the flights full and you don’t get second break it definitely does become an obstacle course getting to and from the cockpit.

I’ll just make sure to put on a helmet and knee pads before making my move back there. Something about being able to walk out of the flight deck, take a leak, grab a snack, and climb a couple steps to my bed sounds nice.

Its more about when you are flying vs number of pilots. Seniority matters. 4 pilot middle of the night wipes me out. JNB, SYD etc. It's just as bad as 3 pilot South America. 4 pilot also means more time zones which gets weird if it's more than a 24 hr layover. With 24 you just sleep, eat sleep repeat. At 36+ you start feeling the body forced into compliance with the sun. A morning departure to HND is a piece of cake. An afternoon trip to Europe is also comfortable.

3x3 day HND trips for 81 hours of mostly circadian day/evening work is an entirely different job than 2x7 day JNB/CPT combos for 78 hours of vampire duty.

1: Jumpseat comfort

2: Destination quality

3: Co-worker quality

4: Ease of side window opening

5: Seniority

350 doesn't have an opening side window, looks like you should bid the 330.

How long after an AE closes do the awards come out?

Just to pile on, the 330 has a secondary barrier, which simplifies crew swaps and restroom breaks.

The last few have been within 48 hrs. However there is no required timeline and they have taken up to 10 days in the past. I expect it to be on the quicker side, but plan for the worst, etc.

Is that on all the 330s?

Just making sure I’m following…some of y’all are contrasting the merits of getting meals by saying you would rather have PSC.

Does anyone honestly think that’s even in the same realm of cost?
