You can change base on the same equipment as frequently as you want. The only risk is it's difficult sometimes to tell when you'll actually be converted.

Since we started monthly bids, same plane/seat base changes seem to all have been converted on the expected date advertised in the AE (this one is scheduled for March bid period)
