either we should pay by aircraft type or by longevity, but not this hybrid where you are automatically guaranteed the highest payrate you ever held. seats and planes have payrates. And I’m fine paying them that way. If we switch to longevity I’m fine paying that way. But just because you are displaced for any reason, but especially because you are no longer qualified to fly an airplane to a majority of its destinations, doesn’t mean you are owed anything more than anyone else who flies your new plane in your new seat.

If I had to, I would absolutely do that. But if ICAO changed, I would bid right back. I can handle either school with zero problems, and if delta wants to waste time training me, fine. I would personally rather work than sit home collecting money for nothing, but that is how I roll. But whether it is 73NA or 767A, the point is the same. He was saying that whatever paycut had to be endured would still be "enough". That is not unionism. A union would fight for everyone to make as much as absolutely possible to the very last day.
and it isn’t a pay cut, it’s a huge pay raise considering the alternative is not working for Delta or any part 121 carrier.

And you aren't getting displaced anytime soon. All this talk of stagnation if 67 passes is a bunch of hyperbolic horse****.

It isn't worth fighting for because it's going to be incredibly expensive for the rest of us. And I'm not giving up anything for you. I thought they was pretty clear in C19 polling

Why do ya'll think I am so ****ed that alpa threw the 767 guys under the bus wrt WB pay? Hint: it isn't that I think I am destined to be going back there anytime soon.

BTW I noticed the member list on the forum for the first time tonight and happened to see it right when you were on your post number 7007 that’s gotta be a James Bond celebratory drink situation.

This seems like one person arguing against everyone else, and accusing them of being a union of one, when he is pursuing his own self interest.
It benefits all 16,000 pilots though…I know….I know…
