Prepare yourselves… 2023 AEs

This can not be understated. Sleep on international layovers can be easy for some and extremely difficult for others. I prefer not to swap that many time zones in a short time on a regular basis. Occasionally, ok. But 6-9 time zone swaps every other day or within 1 of my home, I’ll take that.

Ok... He's a scenario for you. 67 passes but ICAO drags their feet. What is the best financial decision for 'Nick' in this case ( Or anyone else caught up in it). Should Delta pay protect him to go back to NB (would alpa advocate for that)? Or... Should he go out on disability at WB Captain pay?
I mean theoretically age 67 implementation should be delayed until ICAO raises its limit. That would prevent the gooberfest of having hundreds of WB pilots who cannot fly 90+% of their fleet's routes. If age 67 is instituded wholesale immediately without waiting on ICAO, I do not think that there should be any pay protection to fly a NB at WB rates. If you want to keep getting a paycheck then do it under the current rules of the PWA. My guess is a lot of guys will go out on medical rather than slum it around domestically, even if they're sitting on the top of the category.

I see most likely a buyout (here comes the min balance we were promised), but short of that pay protection. Worst case we displace to the top of the NB lists.

It will have to be a negotiated settlement. And ALPA will be very willing to negotiate us away rather than face the class action discrimination and DFR lawsuit against them, which will be simultaneously filed. Checkmate. Oh, and Hartmann has set precedent that grievance settlement don't have to go to MEMRAT. So there's that too.

You've been taught this several times. An LOA is not a grievance. There wouldn't be a grievance settlement. Additionally, you wouldn't have grounds for a DFR if the majority of the pilot group rejected a LOA that unfairly benefited senior pilots. Same way that you didn't have grounds for a DFR when you didn't get your way in C19. You can throw around the threat of a DFR but I don't even think you know what it means.

So says a guy in in thirties who spends a majority of every day on a pilot gossip page and a meme page and thinks he's wise beyond his years, lol. Look at yourself. You're nothing but another pathetic influencer. They're not laughing with you they're laughing at you. You wouldn't know DFR if you dropped your smart phone in it.

Also, you're still wrong. Anything else to add?
