True but on a NB fleet, save maybe the 717, it is getting really hard to avoid trips with circadian swaps as bad/worse than long haul international. I might stay within 2 time zones of home, but I'm doing 10-13 hour dayovers post redeye into a night flight to a short overnight, with a "back to normal-ish" report time, getting in at midnight.

If age 67 is instituded wholesale immediately without waiting on ICAO, I do not think that there should be any pay protection to fly a NB at WB rates. If you want to keep getting a paycheck then do it under the current rules of the PWA. My guess is a lot of guys will go out on medical rather than slum it around domestically, even if they're sitting on the top of the category.
IDK James. Caveat - this is all theorhetical. I guess it depends on if we go unilateral to ICAO implmentation (if they do it at all). I'm thinking that they get paid at the rate to which seat they can hold. Which won't be a WB. So most likely 12 year NB at what they can hold (which is any NB in our fleet). EB hates to pay pilots for doing "nothing". So that enters the calculus as well. No one in the industry is for it, air lines or the unions/associations. I don't think they'll get much love from either camp. Most likely they either sit NB A or they get a work up to go out on disability. So basically what tennisguru said above.

It will have to be a negotiated settlement. And ALPA will be very willing to negotiate us away rather than face the class action discrimination and DFR lawsuit against them, which will be simultaneously filed. Checkmate. Oh, and Hartmann has set precedent that grievance settlement don't have to go to MEMRAT. So there's that too.

I see most likely a buyout (here comes the min balance we were promised), but short of that pay protection. Worst case we displace to the top of the NB lists.

You've been taught this several times. An LOA is not a grievance. There wouldn't be a grievance settlement. Additionally, you wouldn't have grounds for a DFR if the majority of the pilot group rejected a LOA that unfairly benefited senior pilots. Same way that you didn't have grounds for a DFR when you didn't get your way in C19. You can throw around the threat of a DFR but I don't even think you know what it means.

Hush. Sit down. It's time for you to be quiet and learn instead of running your mouth all the time.

Uh. No. DFR doesn't guarantee equality of outcome. No matter how hard you say it. You don't know what you're talking about, again.

So says a guy in in thirties who spends a majority of every day on a pilot gossip page and a meme page and thinks he's wise beyond his years, lol. Look at yourself. You're nothing but another pathetic influencer. They're not laughing with you they're laughing at you. You wouldn't know DFR if you dropped your smart phone in it.

Oh! My feelings! They are so hurt! I will certainly never argue with you again! Thanks for correcting me!

Also, you're still wrong. Anything else to add?

You post a 5 sentence insult-filled ad hominem and MY response is immature. That's probably the funniest thing you've ever said. Well done.
